Two former petrol filling station sites in Bristol have been acquired for private clients by specialist land agents CJH Land.
Both were owned by Dominion Developments, part of the A2Dominion Housing Group, and have been sold to private investors, who intend to develop them for use.
The former BP filling station on Lower Ashley Road, St Paul’s, Bristol includes a third of an acre of land close to the M32. The former Texaco garage in Two Mile Hill, Kingswood, which was of similar size, has also been sold.
Matthew Hiles, director of CJH Land, based in Flax Bourton, Bristol, said: “Once we were aware that these two properties were going to be sold we acted extremely quickly as it was clear they would be popular.
“We agreed both sales within a week. Whilst the property market continues to get negative press we have plenty of clients who are in the market for the right opportunities.
“The new owner of the Two Mile Hill site has let the property as a car dealership while the Lower Ashley Road site has potential to be developed as a retail outlet with apartments above.
“Both are in prominent locations and offer great opportunities for the new owners to develop them and see a good return on their investment.”
