Tadpole Garden Village is located to the north of Swindon and extends to approximately 143 hectares. The residential development of Priory Vale, which is now nearly completed lies to the south. The site is approximately 6 miles north of the M4 and sits within the borough of Swindon Council. Vehicular access to the development is from either Oakhurst Way, the Northern Orbital Road or Tadpole Lane.
Tadpole Garden Village benefits from an outline planning permission, granted on the 11th September 2012 (No. S/11/1588IH) for the erection of 1696 dwellings, employment (classes B1 & B2), local centre (classes A1-A5), public house (class A4), community uses including dentists, doctors surgery, community hall, primary school, POS, 3 vehicular accesses, site roads and associated infrastructure.
